I am currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at Zhejiang University, working with Prof. Weichang Li. I received my Ph.D. in Geophysics from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2025, where I worked with the Computational Interpretation Group (CIG) under the supervision of Prof. Xinming Wu. Prior to that, I obtained my B.S. degree in Geophysics from USTC in 2020.

My research interests lie at the intersection of machine learning and geophysics. This includes post-stack seismic data processing, interpretation, and inversion, distributed acoustic sensing (DAS) data analysis, and the development of geophysical foundation models. I also work on building efficient geophysical software tools, including 3d geophysical data visualization.

  • Feb. 2026: Our paper was accepted by IEEE Transactions on Image Processing (TIP).

  • Jan. 2026: Our work on memory-efficient 3D data inference, published in Communications Engineering, has been featured in news reports by Bioengineer.org and GeneOnline.

  • Nov. 2025: Our paper was accepted by Communications Engineering, a new engineering journal under the Nature Portfolio and the first Nature journal dedicated to engineering research.

  • Sep. 2025: Jintao joined Zhejiang University as a Postdoctoral Researcher.

  • May 2025: Jintao successfully passed his Ph.D. defense at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC).
